Italian restaurant Amici opened in Oak Hill on March 2.
Elpida Sarna owns the restaurant, and her husband, Fabrizio Sarna, is the head chef.
Prior to the brick-and-mortar, the business operated as a food truck in Buda, but the intent was always to open in Austin, Fabrizio Sarna said.
Before the food truck, Amici was in New York City for over 20 years. Fabrizio Sarna, who is from Naples, Italy, said the restaurant serves authentic Neapolitan cuisine based on recipes from his homeplace.
