Violet Crown Festival
Local nonprofit Violet Crown Community Works will host a spring festival featuring food, live music, artisan crafts and family-friendly activities. This year, it will feature a barbecue cook-off and headliner Dale Watson and His Lone Stars.
Austin’s longest-running art and music festival will take place at Hill Country Galleria for its 50th anniversary celebration this spring. The festival will feature local vendors and artists, live music artists, kids' rides, a petting zoo and more.

Fiesta Reclamada, or Fiesta Reclaimed, will revive the celebration Austin loved for many years with a new take on Austin's cultural arts featuring all the people who make contemporary music, dance and visual arts. The festival will have food and drinks, art booths, children’s activities, live music, dancing and more.
The 48th Annual O. Henry Museum Pun-Off World Championships will bring together the “punniest” people to compete in spoken word competitions. Spectators are invited to take lawn chairs and blankets to enjoy the jokes, "punny groans," live music, food trucks and a silent auction.
The 27th annual film festival and conference will showcase and celebrate the best in Latinx, Indigenous, Latin American and Ibero-American storytelling with panels, workshops, screenings, red carpets and more. Cine Las Americas is an Austin-based multicultural nonprofit organization dedicated to empowering Latinx and Indigenous filmmakers.

Following its main festival, Cine Las Americas will present an inaugural youth film festival to showcase filmmakers from around the world who are under the age of 19.

Art lovers, enthusiasts and collectors are invited to check out 55 local, national and international galleries for the Affordable Art Fair’s second annual showcase in Austin. Guests will be able to walk through the galleries of contemporary art and learn about the art-buying world through panel discussions, tours and workshops.

Spanning Memorial Day Weekend, this festival calls itself a “DIY casserole of the culinary and music world.” The food events and music shows will exhibit some of Austin’s best chefs and talented musicians.
The ColdTowne Theater, an Austin main stage for improv comedy, will present Austin Sketch Fest, showcasing the best scripted comedy from all across North America.
