Austin ISD police warn public of individuals impersonating officers

The Austin ISD Police Department is asking community members to be wary of potentially fraudulent phone calls.

AISD PD has gotten reports from residents and community members stating they are getting phone calls from individuals posing as district police officers, according to a news release.

Callers have made false claims regarding arrest warrants and have also asked for sensitive personal information, such as Social Security numbers.
