Ciccio Bomba now open at Fareground in downtown Austin

Customers can find selections from classic pastries, cornetti semplici, and savory and specialty items, cornetti complicati. Those looking for more than baked goods can order breakfast dishes, focaccia, sandwiches, salads and café beverages.

Signature items include Pesto & Cherry Tomato Cornetto, Porchetta & Stracchino Cornetto and Avocado Toast on house made focaccia.

Gianba’s introduction to cooking was unexpected as he transitioned into the career after serving for five years as an Italian Navy Seal with no prior chef experience, as stated in a news release.

After climbing the industry ladder, Gianba became head chef at Soho House West Hollywood and executive sous chef at The Beverly Hilton where he cooked for the Golden Globes award show for three years.
