August median home sales prices decrease in Buda and Kyle year-over-year

The real estate market for the San Marcos, Buda and Kyle area saw a total of 397 home sales in August, according to data from the Four Rivers Association of Realty.

In the 78666 ZIP code, 92 homes sold, while 190 sold in the 78640 ZIP code and 115 in the 78610 ZIP code in August.

In August, year-over-year median home prices decreased by over 8% and 13% in Kyle and Buda, respectively, and increased by over 14% in San Marcos.

In the 78666 ZIP code, a home was listed on the market for an average of 84 days. In the 78610 and 78640 ZIP codes, homes were on the market for around 60 days, according to the data.
