Magdalena’s Tamales, 128 S. Guadalupe St., San Marcos, will celebrate its first anniversary Oct. 1. The food truck sells a variety of tamales and tamale dishes, including chili con carne tamales, tamale frito pie and tamales con queso. The business also sells menudo occasionally on the weekends. Customers who buy 9 dozen tamales get the 10th free. Owner Javier Mendez said the business will host live music and other festivities on Oct. 1 to celebrate the anniversary.
