More than 150 people attended the San Marcos Cattle Baron's Ball on April 6 at the Hays County Civic Center in San Marcos. The event raised about $31,000, with proceeds benefiting the American Cancer Society. The night included a silent auction, an open bar and live music from the Derailers and Emmerson Biggins.
