Mike Leas said he and his wife, Cindy, are very protective of their children, and they hope their parental passion will translate into a viable business they co-own.
Breadcrumbs uses USB flash drives to store children's vital information in case of an emergency. After moving from Cypress to Kyle in September, the couple is raising funds to purchase equipment and advertise their mobile operation.
"We want to promote child safety and provide education about child abductions," said Mike, who knew a girl who was abducted and killed when he was in high school and said her abduction "has always been in the back of my mind."
