Shannon Baxley assumed ownership of Bobcat Nation Sports Bar & Grill, 700 N. LBJ Drive, Ste. 109, San Marcos, in mid-September. New General Manager Bobby "Bo" Freeman said the bar and restaurant features happy hours "all day, every day," which include $2 frozen margaritas, $2.50 well drinks and $1 pints of Pabst Blue Ribbon. Bobcat Nation also serves a variety of food dishes, including burgers, nachos and quesadillas. The business also hosts events throughout the week, including karaoke nights and live music. Freeman said the business's staff is composed entirely of current and former Texas State students.
