Plaza Las Rosas Gifts, an Austin-based traveling market, opened a retail location at the Tanger Outlets, 4015 I-35 S. Ste. 408, San Marcos. A grand opening celebration will be held Oct. 15 with poetry, writing, kids crafts and ornament-making workshops. Generally, Plaza Las Rosas Gifts holds pop-ups throughout Austin and exclusively carries artisan goods from local market vendors. Starbucks opened a new location in early Oct. at 19140 I-35, Kyle, within the Dry River District. The new store menu features classics and seasonal specials, such as the pumpkin spice latte, in a traditional walk-in cafe setting and a drive-thru. Car Wash Express will open a new location in February at 233 Wonder World Drive, San Marcos. The car wash will feature a 120-foot automatic car wash and over 10 vacuum stations. The vacuums, towels and window cleaner will be free and provided to all customers.
