Incumbent Jane Hughson, who was first elected in November 2018, is seeking reelection for a fourth term. Hughson is being challenged by Juan Miguel Arredondo, who ran for the mayoral seat in 2020. Arredondo and Hughson entered into a runoff election that year. Hughson secured the runoff election victory with 65.95% of votes or 2,411 ballots. Arredondo received 34.05% of votes, or 1,245 ballots, according to previous reporting by Community Impact.
