Austin-based restaurant Z'Tejas closes last location in Kyle

Austin-based Tex-Mex restaurant Z'Tejas closed in Kyle on June 30.

Restaurant officials announced the closure in a message on the Z'Tejas website.

"With our lease coming to an end and the challenges of today’s market, we’ve made the very difficult decision to close [Z'Tejas]—our last remaining outpost," the message reads.

What else?

Z'Tejas closed its Avery Ranch location in March and its original Sixth Street location in 2023, the same year the restaurant opened in Kyle.

The restaurant has also closed its remaining Arizona location.
