Archies Coffee Lounge opens in San Marcos

San Marcos locals have a new spot to grab coffee with the opening of Archies Coffee Lounge on the square.

The shop, located on LBJ Drive, officially opened Feb. 1, marking the first expansion outside of its original San Antonio location.

What’s on the menu

Archies Coffee Lounge operates as both a coffee shop and a hemp store. According to owner Krystina Padilla, the business focuses on CBD products from a health and wellness perspective, offering education to help customers find the right products. Its hemp selection includes edibles, smokables and topicals.

The shop also serves traditional coffee drinks, a signature cocktail menu, beer, wine and food such as doughnuts and sandwiches.

“We decided on San Marcos because the opportunity was presented to us to have this specific space here on the street,” Padilla said. “We saw our vision coming to life here, so we decided to take it.”
