A new flower shop will be opening in Martindale's Red Barn Bakery, just in time for Valentine's Day.
Martindale Flower Shop is locally owned by Tonya Amerson, who owned Finley Florals, a two-horse trailer turned into a mobile flower bar.
Amerson said she wanted to get to know the community and be a small-town flower shop where individuals feel comfortable walking in.
"I've always wanted to open a flower shop, just for the passion of the community," Amerson said.
