San Marcos will see a new H-E-B-branded business open in 2027, but it will not be a typical grocery store.
The gist
The grocery store chain is set to begin construction of its first convenience store in San Marcos on July 20.
The 6,000-square-foot, $4 million project is expected to be completed on Feb. 26, 2027.
The options
H-E-B convenience stores offer on-the-go food options, including kolaches, burritos, snacks and sushi at select locations, according to H-E-B.
The San Marcos spot will also feature a fuel station and car wash.
What else?
This will be the fourth H-E-B option in San Marcos, following the third store's opening later this year.
