Lazydaze Counterculture and Coffeehouse opened in San Marcos at 718 E. Hopkins St. on Oct. 1. Lazydaze is a cafe and smoke shop offering vaping accessories, candles, apparel and more. Assistant Manager LaTisha Loria said the coffeehouse is different than most in San Marcos because it specializes in cannabidiol (CBD) oils, a naturally occurring compound derived from the hemp plant, and offers the oils as a shot that can be injected into the coffee drinks. www.lazydazeco.com
