Bloodworth BBQ brings traditional eats to downtown Kyle

Bloodworth BBQ soft opened in downtown Kyle on March 3.

The barbecue joint is owned by husband and wife Thomas and Laticha Bloodworth.

Bloodworth BBQ is open on Saturdays beginning at 11 a.m. until sold out. Once employees are "trained up," Bloodworth BBQ will be adding another day, Thomas Bloodworth told Community Impact.

"I'll be making fresh jerky during the week," he added.

Bloodworth BBQ offers an assortment of meats, including brisket, sausage and pork ribs. The restaurant also offers chopped and sliced brisket sandwiches, and pulled pork sandwiches along with various sides.
