TP Miller is replacing Mark Soto as head football coach and athletic coordinator at Johnson High School.
The North East ISD school board unanimously voted Jan. 10 to promote Miller, who has spent the last two years as defensive coordinator with the Jaguars.
Soto resigned in December following two years at Johnson to head the football program and overall athletics at his alma mater, Judson High School.
Miller shared the news of his promotion on his social media and by releasing a statement. He called his new role “a prestige honor.”
