Homes for sale in the Northeast San Antonio Metrocom area stayed on the market for longer in July 2024 compared to last July, according to the most recent data provided by the San Antonio Board of Realtors.

The conditions

On average, homes stayed on the market for nearly or more than double the amount of time in two ZIP code areas: 78148—Universal City—and 78266, an area that includes parts of Northeast San Antonio, Bracken and Garden Ridge.

Median home prices demonstrated mixed changes among the area’s five ZIP codes, with 78108—Cibolo—prices remaining largely flat and prices in Universal City dropping.

The number of homes sold was down year over year in every area except 78233—Live Oak and parts of San Antonio—where sales were up by almost 40%.

The majority of homes sold in all areas combined in July—132—were in the $200K-$399K range, followed by 55 homes sold in the $400K-$599K range.
