Slim Chickens on Sept. 26 is opening a new location at 909 FM 3009, Schertz.
The Schertz location will be among the 28 locations across Texas and 175 locations across the country. The new restaurant is anticipated to create 75 new jobs in the community.
Slim Chickens opened in 2003 and focuses on food with a southern flair in a fast-casual setting, including chicken tenders, sandwiches, wraps, salads and more.
