Angela "Angie" Saif on Nov. 4 assumed the role of chief nursing officer at Methodist Hospital Northeast, according to a Nov. 4 news release.

The details

Saif brings over 20 years of health care industry experience, and has worked within Methodist Healthcare since 2021, including a role as assistant chief nursing officer at Methodist Hospital.

In this role, Saif held executive oversight for 23 departments and 900 full-time employees, including inpatient progressive care, telemetry, medical-surgical units as well as dialysis, apheresis, staffing, nursing administration and rapid response, according to the release.

“Angie’s outstanding clinical and operational achievements will enable us to continue providing exceptional, high-quality health care to our local community,” said Jerrica George, CEO of Methodist Hospital Northeast, in the release. “We are excited to welcome her to Methodist Hospital Northeast and look forward to the collaborative spirit she will bring to our hospital.”


Taking a step back

Saif is taking the role as chief nursing officer following the promotion of Glenn Dennis from chief nursing officer of Methodist Hospital Northeast to chief nursing officer of Methodist Hospital Stone Oak. Dennis served from 2019 until September.

As a chief nursing officer, Saif will provide leadership to the nursing department at Methodist Hospital Northeast and work to support nursing care within the hospital.
