Everest Rehabilitation Hospitals officials on May 8 announced plans to construct a 40-bed inpatient rehabilitation hospital in Live Oak.
According to a May 8 news release, this will be Everest’s third location in the San Antonio area.
About the project
The Live Oak location will be a two-story, 40-bed physical rehabilitation inpatient hospital located across from Methodist Hospital Northeast. The release states the hospital will serve patients recovering from:
- Stroke
- Brain injury
- Neurological conditions
- Trauma
- Spinal cord injury
- Speech impediments
- Amputation
- Pulmonary disease
- Orthopedic injury
- Other medically complex conditions
