The premier holiday event hosted by the city of Schertz returns Dec. 7.

The details

Holidazzle is an all day event, featuring family-friendly activities, food and craft vendors, and a parade to close out the celebration.

The event kicks off with Breakfast with Santa, inviting families to enjoy a morning with Santa catered by Abel’s Diner.

Tickets to this activity are $10 per person, and registration is required. As of publication time, nearly 30 slots are available for the 8 a.m. breakfast.


At 10 a.m., the Kris Kringle Market will open, featuring a variety of handmade crafts and specialty food items.

What else?

Beginning at 4 p.m., Holiday Hoopla will offer free activities for families to participate in.

City staff will set up Mt. Schertz, allowing children to enjoy sledding through snow. An ice skating rink will also be available.


The evening activities will culminate with the Festival of Angels Parade around 6 p.m. Local businesses, organizations and individuals will decorate floats and vehicles to parade around the municipal area.
