The Schertz Public Library is recruiting residents to be a “human book” during the Human Library event, where residents will talk to readers about experiences, perspectives, values and beliefs.

Residents representing a variety of ethnicities, nationalities, religions, occupations and characteristics are encouraged to share their experiences to help give participants varied perspectives.

Those interested in sharing their experiences with the public can fill out an application. The application will be reviewed by a committee to determine which applicants are selected.

Selected applicants will be required to attend a short training session. The Human Library event will be held July 16 from 1-5 p.m.
