With all Bexar County precincts reporting, incumbent Ed Cimics took the majority vote for City Council Place 4 with 67.83% of votes. Charles Ramirez received 32.17%.

Cimics will continue as the Place 4 council member following the canvassing of votes. All totals are unofficial until canvassed.

In the race for Live Oak City Council Place 4, incumbent Ed Cimics leads with 65.15% of early votes. Challenger Charles Ramirez received 34.85% of early votes for the same seat.


The details

Two City Council positions and the mayor position were up for election this year.

Mayor Mary Dennis is the lone mayor candidate, meaning she will be sworn in following the canvassing of votes in May, city staff said. Place 2 council member Robert “Bob” Tullgren will also run uncontested.
