Judson ISD breaks ground on perimeter fencing, gates project

Judson ISD administration and staff on Feb. 23 broke ground on the districtwide perimeter fencing and gates project.

The details

This project includes the installation of perimeter fencing and gates at five campuses, including:

• Kirby Middle School
• Judson Middle School
• Olympia Elementary School
• Judson High School
• Wagner High School

During the Feb. 15 board of trustees meeting, $774,736 was approved for the project, which will be funded using bond funds approved in 2022.

The first phase of the project has a tentative completion date of this June, while the entire project, which includes 19 campuses, is expected to be completed in the fall, according to documents submitted by district staff.
