The 16th annual Schertz-Cibolo-Universal City Education Foundation Golf Tournament will serve as a fundraiser for the organization to give back to the district by supporting initiatives, such as the Annual Grant Prize Party Day, which gives funds back to teachers.

The details

Registration to the tournament is now open, with options available for a team of four, individuals and sponsorship opportunities.

Beginning this year, the name of the event will be changed to the David Pevoto Par-TEE for Programs Annual Golf Tournament.

The name change was in honor of David Pevoto, who served as a teacher, administrator and trustee in the district over the course of 20 years, according to the district website. Pevoto also served as a founding member of the Education Foundation, which was established in 2008.
