In the search for a new superintendent, Judson ISD is requesting community feedback.

An anonymous survey is available until Feb. 22, which allows community members to answer questions regarding leadership qualities desired in a new superintendent.

The survey was put out by Hazard, Young, Attea & Associates, which the board of trustees approved to assist in the search for a new superintendent.

The new superintendent will be responsible for serving the educational needs of approximately 25,000 students, 20 elementary schools, six middle schools, three high schools and four secondary academies.

Following the survey results, a special meeting will be held March 6 to approve the superintendent’s profile.

The first round of interviews is expected to be held the week of March 27, and the goal is to announce the lone finalist the week of April 17.
