Since 2016, Howzit Hawaiian Kitchen has been serving the northeast San Antonio community with Hawaiian comfort food. The catering company will now have a brick and mortar location in Schertz.

What they offer

The restaurant serves a variety of beef, chicken, seafood and noodle dishes including Hawaiian salted pork, spam musubi, Korean chicken wings, desserts and more.

The impact

According to owner and Hawaii native Alden Tottori, being involved with his community at festivals and pop-up events has been a positive experience for the restaurant. For the 2023-2024 season, Hawaii Howzit Kitchen had the opportunity to be the official food vendor for the San Antonio Spurs inside the H-E-B Fan Zone at the Frost Bank Center.

One more thing

Tottori said he and his family are hoping to open in late July. The restaurant will be housed in the same retail center as Randy G’s Homemade Ice Cream.
