Universal City leaders, staff and community celebrated the opening of the renovations July 28.
The new park structures include a set of swings, tower with slides, a playground spinner and a multisurface climbing dome.
Cimarron Park is located at 368 Wagon Crossing, Universal City, and features a 1,500-square-foot clubhouse and the updated playground.
Veterans Park, located at 737 E. Aviation Blvd., Universal City, will also be receiving a new playground Aug. 11. The Veterans Park playground ribbon-cutting will be held at 10 a.m. with frozen treats available for free until 11 a.m.
