A regional chain of dermatology clinics in the San Antonio area has shifted its name and ownership.

Dermatology Associates of San Antonio in Live Oak announced its partnership with the nationwide chain Epiphany Dermatology on Dec. 3, according to a statement on the old clinic’s website.

It's one of four clinics acquired by the healthcare conglomerate in San Antonio, located at 7832 Pat Booker Road.

“The Dermatology Associates of San Antonio staff is excited to join the Epiphany Dermatology team,” a statement from the business said.


Although the clinic will operate under a new name, the staff will remain the same and previous medical records will remain at the clinic, according to the statement.

The Austin-based company owns hundreds of locations across the United States, from Washington State to Maryland, according to their clinic locator tool.

Epiphany Dermatology now has four locations in the San Antonio metropolitan area.
