This nationwide chain of beverage shops is expanding in San Antonio with a new location on the city's northeast side.

What residents should know

Swig, a specialty soda shop, is opening a new location Dec. 29 7038 N. Loop 1604 E., next to the Slim Chickens restaurant, according to the shop's website. Swig is also planning to open another new location in North San Antonio at 3639 E. Evans Road, according to previous reporting from Community Impact.
