A new pet grooming salon has officially opened in northeast San Antonio.

The pet grooming salon—called Honeybee Grooming—is located at 8090 Pat Booker Road in Live Oak.

Owner Hailey Carroll said the business opened on Oct. 6.

Honeybee Grooming began as a home-based grooming business in 2023. Carroll said she wanted to open a brick-and-mortar to offer the service to more customers with pets in the area.

What they offer


The salon caters to both cats and dogs of any breed or size, although Carroll said she specializes in grooming bigger pets with double coated fur.

Larger dogs like Great Pyrenees and cats like the Maine Coon are some of Carroll’s favorites to work with.

“That’s my specialty, big dogs with double coats,” Carroll said.

Aside from traditional grooming services like cuts and nail trims, Honeybee Grooming offers teeth brushing, ear plucking and general skin care.
