A new dance studio has opened its doors in Northeast San Antonio.
At a glance
The studio—named Hollywood & Vine Dance Studios—opened July 16 at 117 E. Wright Blvd. in Universal City, near Randolph Air Force Base.
Hollywood & Vine Dance Studios is owned by Chrissy Linnea and specializes in tap, jazz and ballet classes for all ages, from children to adults.
“We’re just trying to spread the love for dance,” Linnea said.
How we got here
Linnea moved from the Seattle area where she also ran a dance studio. In December 2024, she fell seriously ill. After recovering she moved to Texas to open her studio.
“Something had always drawn me to Texas,” Linnea said. “There’s a lot of dancers to work with here.”
