Co-owner Jeison Mena—a former professional athlete in Cuba—said the lack of recovery treatment resources he had as an athlete prompted him to open up a franchise to provide such treatments.
What they offer
Bioworx offers a variety of inflammation-reducing therapies such as cryotherapy, red light therapy, infrared sauna, IV drips for hydration and more.
Susana Ruiz, who also co-owns the business, said they want to help the Cibolo community achieve a better quality of life through noninvasive methods.
Bioworx has seven locations throughout San Antonio.
