Summer art exhibit

San Antonio Art League and Museum will host a new exhibit, “Summering at SAALM,” featuring 64 works from 32 artist members Gentileschi Aegis Gallery Association. The show pieces are designed to evoke feelings of summertime.

Music and crafts

Box fan distribution


San Antonio District 10 City Council member Marc Whyte will invite residents to an Operation Project Cool event at the Northeast Senior Center. Residents will receive a free fan and learn safe methods for staying cool this summer. There will be representatives from several organizations and agencies, including CPS Energy and Meals on Wheels.

San Antonio Pride Festival

The city’s official Pride celebration will include a daylong festival at Crockett Park with food, entertainment, a health fair and vendors. A night parade will take place in the same area.

Pet resource fair

San Antonio Animal Care Services will co-present the Summer Pet Wellness Resource Fair. Attendees may receive free pet food, pet ID tags, information and more. However, pets are not allowed at this event.
