There are plenty of events to celebrate Juneteenth in San Antonio beginning Saturday. This is a non-comprehensive list.

Heavy is the Hair at The Art of Four Juneteenth Luncheon

True Vision Church will celebrate Juneteenth with an inaugural 5K. The event is open to all ages with all proceeds to go toward the TVC 4-Year College Scholarship Program.25th annual Juneteenth Freedom Parade

The parade route will start at Sam Houston High School, 4635 E. Houston St., and end at Comanche Park, 2600 Rigsby Ave., San Antonio.Watch a movie and celebrate Father’s Day


The movie gOD-Talk is a film about seven Black millennials and their struggles with faith and spirituality. A Father’s Day lunch will take place during the movie screening with a discussion to follow.Juneteenth Vendor Market

Hosted by the CNP Foundation, the vendor market will feature Black-owned businesses, historically Black colleges and universities, and Black organizations in the Alamo City.Juneteenth All day National Holiday Celebration

The outdoor event will feature entertainment, activities, music, word of the Gospel, and more. Attendees are encouraged to bring lawn chairs.TVC Juneteenth Festival and Fireworks Display

The event hosted by True Vision Church will have food trucks, entertainment, and more. End of day celebrations will end with a firework show.
