Wine, Women and Shoes

Make-A-Wish Central and South Texas will have “Wine, Women and Shoes,” a fundraiser with wines from William Chris Vineyards, a multi-show designer marketplace, a fashion show, pop-up shop, live and silent auction and more.

El Conquistador

Mexican-American composer Nathan Felix will debut his new opera, “El Conquistador,” which will explore the early life of Hernán Cortés, his conquest of Tenochtitlan and how that has affected modern day Mexico.


School Discovery Day

San Antonio Charter Moms will have a School Discovery Day where young families interested in sending their children to charter schools can meet representatives from 30-plus area charter schools. Attendees may also check out Yanaguana Garden and opportunities to enjoy games and other activities.

Health fair

UT Health San Antonio will have a health fair in observance of World Obesity Day, where nutritionists and diabetes specialists will provide nutritional materials, perform tests and check sugar levels, with giveaways.
