With all polling locations reporting, former San Antonio Mayor Ron Nirenberg has secured the majority of votes in the Democratic Primary election for the Bexar County judge.
Incumbent Peter Sakai received 67,890 votes, or 37.80% of ballots cast. His opponent, Nirenberg, had 111,719 ballots cast in his favor, or 62.27% of the votes.
Out of Bexar County's 1,294,973 registered voters, 290,011—or 22.40%—cast ballots in the March primary election, according to the county election website.

With 73 out of 272 polling centers reporting unofficial early voting results, Nirenberg has 81,832 votes, or 62.09%, and Sakai has 49,956, or 37.91%.

Early voting totals show former four-term San Antonio Mayor Ron Nirenberg is leading in the Democratic primary race for Bexar County judge against incumbent Peter Sakai.

According to unofficial early voting results, Nirenberg has 75,770 votes, or 62%, and Sakai has 46,432, or 38%.
What else?
During early voting, 183,875 ballots were cast countywide, which represents 14.14% of Bexar County's nearly 1.3 million voters.
Totals from ballots cast March 3 have yet to be released. Polls closed at 7 p.m., although voters who were in line at 7 p.m. were still able to cast ballots.
