Bexar County residents can vote from 7 a.m.-7 p.m. Nov. 4 at designated polling centers throughout the county, with local options including:
- Shavano Park City Hall: 900 Saddletree Court, Shavano Park
 - Hollywood Park City Hall: 2 Mecca Drive, San Antonio
 - Hill Country Village City Hall: 116 Aspen Lane, San Antonio
 
On the ballot
Voters will decide whether or not to pass the Bexar County venue tax, which is divided into two propositions:
Proposition A
Authorizing Bexar County to provide for the acquisition and financing of the Freeman Coliseum, Frost Bank Center and other San Antonio Stock Show & Rodeo facilities, together known as the Coliseum Complex Venue Project. The measure would increase the county hotel occupancy tax to a maximum rate of 2%, and also use the existing 5% short-term motor vehicle rental tax to help fund the project. If approved, the maximum hotel occupancy tax rate imposed from all sources in Bexar County would be 17% of the price paid for a room in a hotel.
Proposition B
Authorize Bexar County to plan, develop and finance a new multipurpose arena designed primarily as the home venue for the San Antonio Spurs basketball team, known as the Arena Venue Project. The measure would increase the county hotel occupancy tax to a maximum rate of 2% and use the existing 5% short-term motor vehicle rental tax to help fund the Area Venue Project. If approved, the maximum hotel occupancy rate imposed from all sources in Bexar County would be 17% of the price paid for a room in a hotel.

Residents of North East ISD will also be able to vote on a $495 million bond, which will fund a variety of improvements across the district.Some context
According to the Bexar County Elections Department, 143,499 residents, or 11.66%, out of 1.230 million registered Bexar County voters cast their ballots during the Oct. 20-31 early voting period. Encino Branch Library had 6,911 votes cast, Parman Branch Library at Stone Oak had 6,049 votes cast and Tobin Branch Library at Oakwell had 6,039 votes cast.

Voters must have a valid form of photo identification at the polls when voting in person, according to www.votetexas.gov.
Forms of valid ID include:
- A Texas driver's license issued by the Texas Department of Public Safety
 - A Texas election identification certificate issued by the DPS
 - A Texas personal identification card issued by the DPS
 - A Texas handgun license issued by the DPS
 - U.S. military identification card containing the person’s photo
 - U.S. citizenship certificate containing the person’s photo
 - U.S. passport book or card
