Residents of North San Antonio can cast their vote May 3 for a variety of local elections, including school board seats and City Council elections.

Bexar County residents can vote from 7 a.m.-7 p.m. May 3 at designated polling centers throughout the county, with local options including:
  • Shavano Park City Hall: 900 Saddletree Court, Shavano Park
  • Hollywood Park City Hall: 2 Mecca Drive, San Antonio
  • Hill Country Village City Hall: 116 Aspen Lane, San Antonio

Voters must have a valid form of photo identification at the polls when voting in person, according to www.votetexas.gov.

Forms of valid ID include:
  • A Texas driver's license issued by the Texas Department of Public Safety
  • A Texas election identification certificate issued by the DPS
  • A Texas personal identification card issued by the DPS
  • A Texas handgun license issued by the DPS
  • U.S. military identification card containing the person’s photo
  • U.S. citizenship certificate containing the person’s photo
  • U.S. passport book or card


Those without an acceptable form of photo ID can fill out a Reasonable Impediment Declaration at the polls and present an alternative form of ID, such as a bank statement, government check or utility bill.
