Final early voting tallies from the Bexar County Elections Department show that approximately 5.7% of registered voters cast their ballot from April 22-29.

The overview

According to the Texas secretary of state, Bexar County has 1.3 million registered voters. Data released April 29 shows that 74,092 voters cast their ballots during the early voting period countywide.

Brookhollow Branch Library saw the highest turnout with 5,427 ballots cast, followed by Cody Branch Library with 4,520, Maverick Branch Library with 3,633, Semmes Branch Library with 3,601 ballots cast and the Wonderland Mall of the Americas with 3,403.

Ballots feature every San Antonio City Council position and the mayor, along with one Hollywood Park City Council position. NISD residents can also vote on several board of trustees seats.

Bexar County residents can vote from 7 a.m.-7 p.m. May 3 at designated polling centers throughout the county.
