According to unofficial early voting results, Salazar has 336,810 votes, or 57.59%, and opponent Buchanan has 248,015, or 42.41%.

In early voting, 574,920 ballots were cast countywide, which represents 44% of Bexar County's 1.3 million voters.
Totals from ballots cast Nov. 5 have yet to be released. Polls closed at 7 p.m., although voters who were in line at 7 p.m. were still able to cast ballots.
