Early election results for the Texas House District 121 race between Democrat Laurel Jordan Swift and Republican Marc LaHood have been released.
What you need to know
According to unofficial early voting results, LaHood leads with 42,606 votes, or 52.20%, against Swift with 39,016 votes, or 47.80%, respectively.
District 121 represents a large portion of North San Antonio and the cities of Alamo Heights, Terrell Hills and Olmos Park.
What else?
In early voting, 574,920 ballots were cast countywide, which represents 44% of Bexar County's 1.3 million voters.
Totals from ballots cast Nov. 5 have yet to be released. Polls closed at 7 p.m., although voters who were in line at 7 p.m. were still able to cast ballots.
