Hollywood Park-based Purple Garlic Italian Cafe will open a second location this summer on Blanco Road in North San Antonio.

Purple Garlic’s owners have used their social media channels in recent weeks to update followers on plans to open a second storefront in a Churchill Estates neighborhood retail center.
Representatives for Purple Garlic said they are renovating a space that has housed past culinary businesses, such as Mimosa Restaurant and Lounge, and that they are tentatively eying a July opening.
