According to recent social media posts, the first Texas location of La Carniceria Meat Market, a Los Angeles-based premium butcher shop, will open in North San Antonio soon.
While company officials have not offered details, the San Antonio store will open at 946 N. Loop 1604 W, Ste. 140, near Stone Oak.
Representatives of La Carniceria announced in July 2022 that they were expanding their premium butcher shop concept nationwide to four new locations, including San Antonio. La Carniceria has seven storefronts in California.
La Carniceria offers a variety of prime meats. It is the only facility in the Los Angeles area to be part of the Japanese Kobe Beef Association.
