The Hollywood Park area is now host to one new restaurant that opened in early March and one cafe that had a grand opening on Valentine’s Day.

Wild Japanese BBQ & Shabu at 1540 N. Loop 1604 E., San Antonio, offers all-you-can-eat dining for lunch and dinner.

Patrons may prepare their Japanese-style barbecued meats or vegetables, such as pork belly, tare sauce chicken, miso-marinated fish fillet, broccoli or sweet potato.

Guests may also enjoy shabu-shabu, a Japanese hot-pot dish of thinly sliced meat and vegetables, such as Japanese mini sausage, crab, pork, lamb, spinach or watercress, boiled in water and served with dipping sauces.

According to its social media, Wild held soft opening throughout the first weekend of March.

The eatery hosted grand opening activities April 1-2, including offers of free champagne and traditional Asian lion dances.

Owner Roxana Jimenez opened the doors to Pink Cappuccino earlier this winter at 238 N. Loop 1604 E., Ste. 102, San Antonio, inside the Stone Creek retail center.

But grand opening festivities were held Feb. 14 for the coffee shop, which offers traditional and specialty coffee drinks, including pink-colored coffee as well as similarly cured desserts. Other pastries include pink crepe dulce de leche with peach as well as strawberry flan.

The cafe also features pink and neon signs and decor that complement the culinary offerings.
