Digging deeper
In addition to a resort-style pool, Plaza San Antonio contains more than 21,000 square feet of indoor and outdoor venues, including a nearly 6,000-square-foot ballroom, all designed to accommodate an array of activities, the release states.
Plaza San Antonio Hotel and Spa also features two restaurants and bars, Corinne San Antonio and Anaqua Garden Bar.
Led by Executive Chef Joseph Krauss, Corinne San Antonio serves weekday breakfast, lunch and dinner as well as weekend brunch and dinner with dishes focused on classic American food influenced by South Texas and Gulf Coast cuisine. Hotel officials also said Corinne has a cocktail and wine program.
Named after the property’s historic 42-foot-tall Anaqua tree, Anaqua Garden Bar looks over the hotel’s outdoor pool and is surrounded by greenery, the release states. Anaqua features a Latin-Asian fusion food menu, botanical-inspired cocktails and a curated soundtrack of easy listening music, hotel representatives said.
