This Houston-based food truck–specializing in halal steak cuisine—opened a new location in San Antonio on the city’s North Side.

This locally-owned Tex-Mex chain opened a second location in Stone Oak. Known for el pastor tacos, the eatery was previously featured in a Netflix documentary.

Situated in its own climate-controlled building, the new Dill Dinkers features 10 indoor courts, two dedicated social areas, a large parking lot and is built using sound-dampening materials to create a quieter environment, according to a news release.

The Austin-based brewpub chain has expanded into San Antonio, opening a specialty pizza joint. The eatery is known for a wide range of craft beers, pizzas and sandwiches, according to previous reporting from Community Impact.

Previously known as Hungry Howie’s, the locally owned pizza spot is led by the Pope family, and reopened independently after a contract with the regional chain expired.

Sunny’s

This Boerne-based all-day brunch spot is expanding into San Antonio. The eatery serves up a selection of breakfast, brunch and lunch options all day, plus a variety of cocktails and beverages.
