A new H-E-B has opened in San Antonio’s north side near the University of Texas at San Antonio.

Customer service representatives from H-E-B said that the San Antonio-based grocery store chain opened its newest area location at 7330 N. Loop 1604 W. on on Aug. 6.

The 111,000 square-foot supermarket created approximately 400 new jobs, according to a news release. H-E-B sells a wide range of grocery items. This location also offers a curbside delivery area with covered parking and a selection of international foods. The new location also has a Cooking Connection section, which offers live food demonstrations.
Attached to the store is a True Texas BBQ restaurant. True Texas BBQ offers slow smoked meats, meals, traditional side dishes and more.
